Zortrax Z-SUPPORT Plus Filament Dedicated for Zortrax Inventure
Z-SUPPORT Plus is a PVA-based soluble support filament that can be 3D printed in temperatures reaching 245° C (505° F). It is compatible with ABS-based Z-ULTRAT Plus material. The filament’s main ingredient is polyvinyl acetate (PVA), which is easily dissolvable in water, nontoxic and biodegradable. Hands-free support removal reduces time needed to complete projects and ensures damage-free extraction of support structures. Once 3D printed, models can be safely submerged in water inside Zortrax DSS Station. The device heats the water and provides proper flow to maximize the dissolving rate.
Dissolvable support is a unique feature of LPD Plus technology introduced with Zortrax Inventure. Simultaneous 3D printing of base and support material allows for creating shapes unachievable on other devices. Z-SUPPORT Plus allows for 3D printing complex, detailed, hollow shapes as well as moving mechanisms in one go. The filament can be used to stack multiple batches of products on top of each other to speed up short-series production.
